BURLINGTON, VT – People’s United Bank recently announced that Zuzana Brochu, CFP® of People’s United Wealth Management received her Certified Business Exit Consultant® designation.

People’s United Bank has been supporting local business owners through a variety of financial products and services, ranging from commercial lending to business services, wealth management, and beyond.  To continue the strong commitment to business owners, Zuzana Brochu of the Wealth Management Department recently earned her Certified Business Exit Consultant® designation.

“We recognize that business owners work hard for many years to grow a successful business.  The transition out of owning a business and into retirement is a major milestone – one that needs to be carefully planned,” Zuzana Brochu said.  As a financial planner and a business exit specialist, Zuzana has the qualifications and the experience to work with business owners on their transition plans.  She goes well beyond working through the various business exit options; she delves into issues such as mental and financial readiness, family legacy, business continuation goals, and others.  Zuzana brings together retirement planning and business succession planning in a way that allows business owners to see their financial picture in its entirety.  “My goal is to make business owners even better equipped to make informed financial decisions for themselves, their businesses, and their families,” said Brochu.
