Wake Robin Announces Leslie Parker as New Environmental Services Director

— Vermont’s first lifecare community is pleased to welcome Parker to its leadership team —SHELBURNE, Vt. —Wake Robin, Vermont’s leading continuing care retirement community, today announced that Leslie Parker joined the Wake Robin team as Environmental Services Director, effective February 2016. In her new position, Parker will be overseeing all aspects of Wake Robin’s 136-acre physical plant including the maintenance and operation of all public spaces and private residences, housekeeping and laundry services, grounds, and security throughout the community.

“Leslie brings a unique skillset to the Wake Robin Environmental Services team and we’re happy to have her join our team,” said Patrick McKee, President and CEO of Wake Robin. “Her years of experience in organizational leadership, systems management, and healthcare operations make her the perfect person to take on the role.”

Prior to accepting the position as Environmental Services Director, Parker held the role of Long Term Care Director of Operations at the Visiting Nurse Association of Chittenden and Grand Isle Counties, where she was responsible for the reorganization and oversight of Medicaid funded services, budget development and management, and the on-boarding of new clients. In addition to her time with the VNA, Parker also has experience with operations management, quality control, development of organizational systems, and strategic planning.
