BURLINGTON — The University of Vermont Foundation this week announced one new hire and eight promotions.
Amy Palmer-Ellis of Shelburne was hired as assistant vice president for development and gift planning. She was formerly the associate director of gift planning at Williams College.
Prior to her career in development, Palmer-Ellis was an attorney in Boston and in Bennington, focusing her practice on trust and estate, real estate and charitable institution law.
While in Bennington, Palmer-Ellis and her firm served as counsel for Southwestern Vermont Medical Center.
The eight promotions at the foundation are listed here with their new positions: Jayne Airoldi, senior program coordinator; Erica Corliss, senior coordinator of the major gifts program; Deb Dever, senior director of major gifts in the UVM College of Nursing & Health Sciences; Andrew Flewelling, senior director of human resources and talent management; Kerry McManamon, senior accountant; Erika Nestor, associate director of donor relations; Alan Ryea, vice president for alumni relations; and Jessica Udvardy, senior program coordinator of the principal gifts program.
