MONTPELIER — Kevin McCaffery has joined Stone Environmental’s Water Resources Management Group. In his new role as senior civil engineer, McCaffery will further support the design and implementation of a variety of projects involving stormwater management and hydraulics, as well as provide technical support for Stone’s agricultural stewardship and flow monitoring projects.
McCaffery brings more than 15 years of experience in site/civil engineering, stormwater management design, environmental permitting, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and erosion control planning. He started working with low-impact development methods prior to their widespread acceptance and has been designing natural stormwater management systems his entire career.
Prior to joining Stone, he worked at environmental consulting and engineering firms where he prepared construction plans, environmental permit applications, and restoration or mitigation designs for streams and wetlands. He has experience with ground mounted solar installations, the hydroelectric and dam sector, and fish passage assessments on multiple scales.
