MONTPELIER — Heather Kralik has been hired as outreach coordinator for the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Kralik, who was the Barre Town School librarian for 22 years and outreach coordinator for the Onion River Exchange for five years, has taken the part-time position vacated with the retirement of Rachael Grossman.

“Heather inherited a strong program that Rachael Grossman developed over the years, and she is excited about expanding it,” said Tom McKone, the library’s executive director. “She is currently working on ways to use our existing outreach services as a foundation for expanding our deliveries to homebound patrons.”

The Outreach Program extends services beyond the library building to all six of the communities it serves — Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, Montpelier and Worcester.

She can be reached at 223-3338, ext. 205, or outreachkhl@kellogghubbard.org.
