RUTLAND — Kimberley Rupe, class of 2016 has been named College of St. Joseph’s new community engagement coordinator.
She will be responsible for overseeing the college’s community engagement and volunteer opportunities through the Provider Scholarship Program, which offers students a financial aid package in exchange for 15 hours of community service each semester, participation in campus life, and a commitment to academic curiosity.
Rupe holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from St. Joseph and an associate’s degree in liberal arts from Community College of Vermont. She is a graduate of Poultney High School, and attended Stafford Technical Center in Rutland.
Rupe worked at the Vermont Country Store as customer service coordinator and recruitment coordinator.
“As an alumna of College of St. Joseph and a former Provider scholar, being able to give back to the program that allowed me to affordably continue my education is an incredible feeling,” she said. “We have so much potential here at the college for community outreach and I can’t wait to be a part of the continued growth within our community.”
